Grocery Shopping - Coupons

Only keep coupons to items that you would normally buy. You are not saving money if you purchase items you don’t know what to do with or that your family may not like.

Sort your coupons to the layout of your super market.

Highlight the expiry date to save time at the checkout. The cashier will not have to spend time searching the fine print for it.

Share and trade coupons with friends. Let them know which ones you use and make note of which ones they use. You could also start a coupon exchange with fellow employees or any clubs you might attend.Submitted by: Julie

If you are shopping with your children give them your coupons and have them find the items on the shelf. It’s a great learning experience as they match size, weight and name brands together. It also helps pass the time eliminating boredom.Submitted by: Julie

Tip of the Week

You can place sugar cubes in the container with your cheese to help keep the cheese mold free.
